A weekend of wildlife and digital photography on the magnificent Isle of Mull, with local award winning wildlife photographer Philip Price. Suitable for all photography standards, from beginner to enthusiast. This is an outdoor activity you can do in the sun or rain and still enjoy yourself. More information The beautiful Isle of Mull maximises the ease and opportunities of photographing wild and natural subjects. We have breathtaking landscapes with mountains, lochs, streams and waterfalls inhabited by countless wildlife including Wild Deer, Sea Eagles, Otters, Dolphin and 250 species of bird. Philip Price will be with you all day providing advice and tips when needed. Saturday and Sunday evenings there will be a talk on image storage, printing and manipulation, taking away with you a CD containing all your pictures, and one high quality printout of your favourite shot. What equipment should I bring? We recommend a 300mm lens, Digital SLR camera and tripod. We hire Digital SLR cameras, and show you how to use them (but you will probably want to use your own). Also long sleeve tops, long trousers and warm clothes and waterproofs if it is cold. Walking boots recommended. Can it be done if it is raining and what about the midges? Rain brings it's own opportunity of getting beautiful shots of waterfalls, light and landscape; we have an excellent drying room. There are no midges at this time of year. Your guide Philip Price Philip is a professional wildlife photographer and tour guide, who is also the founder of Loch Visions www.lochvisions.co.uk and has been published by BBC Wildlife Magazine.
