Terms and Conditions


These terms & conditions set out the basis of your contract with Arle Lodge Ltd, none of which affect your statutory rights.

Smoking
Inside the Lodge is totally non-smoking.

Animals
A dog is welcome to sleep in vehicles or bedrooms by prior arrangement. There are plenty of good dog-walks adjacent to the site.

Children
Children over 8 are welcome. We are very sorry but the building is not suitable for younger children, unless by prior arrangement.

Arrival and departures
Arrival is at any time, you can leave your luggage in the lounge, but access to bedrooms is not until 15.00 hrs. Please telephone in the event of a late arrival. Departure should be by 10.00 hrs on the day of departure.

Rooms should be left in a reasonable state of cleanliness.

Breakages
All breakages must be reported and, with the exception of normal wear and tear, must either be paid for or replaced.
For groups hiring the whole lodge a returnable "breakages" deposit of £300 is required.

Personal items are held in the property at the occupiers own risk. Guests are advised to take out a cancellation insurance policy.


Deposits
A 20% non-returnable deposit is payable at the time of booking by credit or debit card or by cheque (payable to Arle Lodge Ltd.) to be received within 7 days of the booking being made.
The balance is payable on arrival. Cheques can only be accepted if supported by a bankers card. In the event of a "non show" the client will be liable for the full amount unless sufficient notice is given. For exclusive group hire the balance is payable 2 weeks before arrival.
No additional charges are made for credit or debit card deposit payments if under £100.
Credit & debit card refunds are charged at 3% plus £10 administration charge. All prices include use of bed linen, towels and showers.
We reserve the right to re-allocate rooms.

House Requests
Please note, in order to maintain a family atmosphere and to allow those who want to get a good night's sleep to do so, we request the following:
There is no curfew at the lodge and guests are welcome to return at any time. However we ask that noise is kept to a minimum after midnight.
People who are not staying at the Lodge should not be invited in without our prior agreement.
Guests are welcome to drink alcohol in the Lodge but please do not become drunk or return to the Lodge drunk.
The management reserve the right to ask guests to leave.

Apartment terms
The apartment should be left in a reasonable state of cleanliness.
Damages must be paid for
The management reserve the right to ask guests to leave.

Washing
We regret that we cannot do guests washing, as our machines are in use full time.

Room service
We respect your privacy and we do not enter your room at any time whilst you are in residence. If you need your room serviced in any way ie bins emptied or clean towels and bed linen, just ask.
