Terms and Conditions
These terms & conditions set out the basis of your contract with Arle Lodge Ltd, none of which affect your statutory rights.
Smoking
Smoking is now banned in public places in Scotland. Inside the Lodge is totally non-smoking, please go outside if you wish to smoke. There are smoke detectors in each room, if these are tampered with the alarm will sound.
Animals
We only allow guide dogs and well behaved dogs that we know in the lodge. If the dog is causing a disturbance then we will require the dog to sleep in your vehicle. Your well behaved dog is welcome to sleep in your bedroom by prior arrangement, due to health and safety dogs are not allowed to enter the lounge/kitchen area. We have three of our own dogs and several sheep in the garden and fields next to the lodge. There are two dog-walks adjacent to the site. Dogs must be kept on a lead.
Children
We are very sorry but the building is not suitable for younger children or babies, unless by prior arrangement or you have exclusive use of the Lodge.
Arrival and departures
Guests may check in between 4:00pm and 7:00pm, please let us know your estimated time of arrival. Should you arrive earlier than 4:00pm you may leave luggage in the lounge, access to bedrooms is not available until 4:00pm. If you will be arriving after 7:00pm please telephone to notify us. Please vacate your room by 10.00am on the day of your departure.
All prices include use of bed linen, towels and showers.
Rooms should be left in a reasonable state of cleanliness.
Personal items are held in the property at the occupiers own risk.
Booking
Payment is required to reserve individual rooms.
If you would like to book exclusive use of the lodge a 20% non refundable deposit is required to reserve your dates. The balance plus a returnable damages deposit must be received two weeks before arrival.
Payment
To reserve your rooms please call 01680 300299 with a Credit or Debit card.
Payment can be made by Debit card (with no surcharge) or Credit card (with a 3% surcharge).
Or let us know that you will be sending a cheque made out to 'Arle Lodge LTD' and send to Arle Lodge, Aros, Isle of Mull, PA726JS (this must be received 7 working days before arrival).
Alternatively Pay by bank transfer (please contact for information) Please use your name as a reference.

Cancellations
In the event of a "non show" the client will be liable for the full amount. If you have booked a room individually and notice is given more than 7 days before hand then we will issue a refund of 80% (minus any bank charges incurred).
If you have booked exclusive use of the lodge no less than 4 weeks notice is required for a refund of 80% (minus any bank charges incurred).
Guests are advised to take out a cancellation insurance policy.
To hire the lodge exclusively a returnable breakages deposit is required.
Refunds
Credit & debit card refunds are charged at 3% plus £10 administration charge.
We reserve the right to re-allocate rooms.
In the event of an emergency Arle Lodge reserve the right to cancel bookings.
We will give you as much notification as possible and fully reimburse you.
Breakages
All breakages must be reported and, with the exception of normal wear and tear, must either be paid for or replaced.
For groups hiring the whole lodge a returnable breakages deposit is required.
House Requests
Please note, in order to maintain a friendly and comfortable atmosphere and to allow those who want to get a good night's sleep to do so, we request the following:
There is no curfew at the lodge and guests are welcome to return at any time. However we ask that noise is kept to a minimum after midnight.
Please do not use the BBQ's after midnight.
Non-residents who are not staying at the Lodge should not be invited in without our prior agreement.
Guests are welcome to drink alcohol in the Lodge but please do not become drunk or return to the Lodge drunk.
If a guest becomes drunk, abusive, disrespectful or violent the management reserve the right to ask them to leave or the police will be called. Arle lodge will be under no obligation to give refunds under these circumstances.
Laundry
We regret that we cannot do guests laundry, as our machines are in use full time. There is a drying room in the lodge for any damp clothes or shoes.
Room service
We respect your privacy and we do not enter your room at any time whilst you are in residence, unless there is an urgent maintenance problem.
If there is a less serious problem we will ask your permission to enter your room. If you need your room serviced in any way i.e bins emptied or clean towels and bed linen, please ask.
