These terms & conditions set out the basis of your contract with Arle Lodge Ltd, none of which affect your statutory rights.
Smoking
Inside the Lodge is totally non-smoking.
Animals
A dog is welcome to sleep in vehicles or bedrooms by prior arrangement. There are plenty of good dog-walks adjacent to the site.
Children
Children over 8 are welcome. We are very sorry but the building is not suitable for younger children, unless by prior arrangement.
Arrival and departures
Guests may check in between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. Should you arrive earlier than 4:00pm you may leave luggage in the lounge, access to bedrooms is not available until 4:00pm. If you will be arriving after 7:00pm please telephone to notify us. At the latest please vacate your room by 10.00am on the Monday.
Rooms should be left in a reasonable state of cleanliness.
Breakages
All breakages must be reported and, with the exception of normal wear and tear, must either be paid for or replaced.
Personal items are held in the property at the occupiers own risk. Guests are advised to take out a cancellation insurance policy.
Deposits
£50 deposit is payable at the time of booking by credit or debit card or by cheque (payable to Arle Lodge Ltd.). All cheques are to be received within 7 days of the booking being made.
The balance is payable on arrival. In the event of a "non show" the client will be liable for the full amount unless notice is given at least two weeks before hand.
We will make every effort to re let the room/s and reimburse you the full amount but if we are not successful you will remain responsible for the balance of the cost.
No additional charges are made for credit or debit card deposit payments if under £100.
Credit & debit card refunds are charged at 3% plus £10 administration charge. All prices include use of bed linen, towels and showers.
Should you wish to stay extra nights before or after the retreat, the usual rates apply
We reserve the right to re-allocate rooms.
In the unlikely event less than 6 guests book, we will have to cancel the retreat. We will notify clients no later than 2 weeks beforehand and fully reimburse them. In the event of an emergency Arle Lodge reserve the right to cancel bookings if we need to close. We will give you as much notification as possible and fully reimburse you.
House Requests
Please note, in order to maintain a family atmosphere and to allow those who want to get a good night's sleep to do so, we request the following:
There is no curfew at the lodge and guests are welcome to return at any time. However we ask that noise is kept to a minimum after midnight.
People who are not staying at the Lodge should not be invited in without our prior agreement.
Guests are welcome to drink alcohol in the Lodge but please do not become drunk or return to the Lodge drunk.
The management reserve the right to ask guests to leave.
Washing
We regret that we cannot do guests washing, as our machines are in use full time.
Room service
We respect your privacy and we do not enter your room at any time whilst you are in residence, unless there is an urgent maintenance problem.
If there is a less serious problem we will ask your permission. If you need your room serviced in any way i.e bins emptied or clean towels and bed linen, please ask.
