Terms and Conditions
These terms & conditions set out the basis of your contract with Arle Lodge Ltd, none of which affect your statutory rights.
No more than 40 paying guests may enter the site.
No overnight camping in vehicles or tents on site.
We require every guest to sleep in a bed that has been paid for.
Cancellations & Refunds
All payments are non refundable. In the event of a "non show" the client will be liable for the full amount.
If you have booked exclusive use of the lodge and wish to cancel, deposits are non refundable.
Guests are advised to take out a cancellation insurance policy with an insurance company.
To hire the lodge exclusively a returnable breakages deposit is required.
We reserve the right to re-allocate rooms.
In the event of an emergency Arle Lodge reserve the right to cancel bookings.
Smoking is now banned in public places in Scotland. Inside the Lodge is totally non-smoking, please go outside if you wish to smoke. There are smoke detectors in each room, if these are tampered with the alarm will sound.
We only allow guide dogs in Arle Lodge, the car park, garden and grounds. If the guide dog is causing a disturbance then we will require the guide dog to sleep in your vehicle. Sorry, no pets as we are a working farm with sheep etc. We have three of our own dogs and several sheep in the garden and fields next to the lodge.
We are very sorry but the building is not suitable for babies or children under the age of 4, or you have exclusive use of the Lodge. We do not permit any children under the age of 14 to be left unattended within the premises at any time.
Arrival and departures
Guests may check in between 3:30pm and 7:00pm. Access to bedrooms is not available until 3:30pm. Please vacate your room by 10.00am on the day of your departure.
All prices include use of bed linen, towels and showers.
Rooms should be left in a reasonable state of cleanliness.
Personal items are held in the property at the occupiers own risk.
Payment is required to reserve individual rooms.
If you would like to book exclusive use of the lodge a 20% non refundable deposit is required to reserve your dates. The balance must be received no later than two business weeks before arrival.
To reserve your rooms please call 01680 300299 with a Credit or Debit card. Payment can be made by Debit card (with no surcharge) or Credit card (with a 3% surcharge). Or let us know that you will be sending a cheque made out to 'Arle Lodge LTD' and send to Arle Lodge, Aros, Isle of Mull, PA726JS (this must be received 7 working days before arrival). Alternatively Pay by bank transfer (please contact for information) Please use your name as a reference.
All breakages must be reported and, with the exception of normal wear and tear, must either be paid for or replaced. In the event of a room key not being left in the door upon departure, we will charge £10 for replacement.
For groups hiring the whole lodge a returnable breakages deposit is required.
Please note, in order to maintain a friendly and comfortable atmosphere and to allow those who want to get a good night's sleep to do so, we request the following:
There is no curfew at the lodge and guests are welcome to return at any time. However we ask that noise is kept to a minimum after midnight.
Please do not use the BBQ's after midnight.
Non-residents who are not staying at the Lodge should not be invited in without our prior agreement.
Guests are welcome to drink alcohol in the Lodge but please do not become drunk or return to the Lodge drunk.
If a guest becomes drunk, abusive, disrespectful or violent the management reserve the right to ask them to leave or the police will be called. Arle lodge will be under no obligation to give refunds under these circumstances.
Please be advised we do not permit stag or hen do's to stay with us.
We regret that we cannot do guests laundry, as our machines are in use full time. There is a drying room in the lodge for any damp clothes or shoes.
We respect your privacy and we do not enter your room at any time whilst you are in residence, unless there is an urgent maintenance problem.
If there is a less serious problem we will ask your permission to enter your room. If you need your room serviced in any way i.e bins emptied or clean towels and bed linen, please ask.
